This past Christmas (2010) a record was set for the most expensive Christmas tree ever. The prize goes to Emirates Palace hotel, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The tree was decked out with diamonds, gold and other precious stones. It cost a total of $11 million dollars and stood proudly in the hotel lobby. Geeez, I'd love to have visited that hotel!! If they have an 11 million dollar tree in their lobby, can you imagine what the rest of the hotel looked like?!?
