It's...cold!!! :-D

I stayed the night at my parents last night. And I was cold :-D shaylah slept out with me. We watched "princess diaries," er... Started watching...then I fell asleep ;)

Bodey has had a fever all day :( poor little lovey.

Jeff put a window ac unit in our bedroom. And our room is cold!!!!!

I took a nap with Bodey today, which was a lot of fun. We hung out outside. We had a bonfire tonight.

Now I'm home, B is asleep. Jeff and I are eating some delicious cereal--color free lucky charms!!! (thanks mama and daddy for getting us a bag!!!) then we are heading to bed to enjoy our cold room and watch "mirror mirror."

Tomorrow we are going to do house projects and lots of sanding... Sanding a crib. Sanding a bookshelf. Maybe sanding another crib?? Hopefully Bodey feels well enough that we can have a productive day :)

Another hot day. Swimming. VBS.

Another hot day. We went to my parents and swam all day. Literally. It felt awesome!

I'm staying the night at their house tonight. The AC is on and I'm covered with a blanket!!!! This is awesomesauce.

Tonight we went to church for the last night of VBS. It was family night. They served hot dogs. A 1st grader said to Shaylah, "I don't eat hotdogs. They are sausage." Shaylah said, "they are al beef though!!" The little girl rolls her eyes and says, "I just can't trust labels these days..." BWAHAHAHA!!!!! So cute.

Tomorrow I will run errands with my mom. We are putting a window AC unit in our bedroom--woot woot! And swimming. Lots of swimming.

hot. Hot. HOT.

Its so unbelievably hot. By 9am my house was 90o. We ran the "AC" all day. Its still (at 10:30) 85o+ in here.

I've been having insomnia at night lately. I was awake all night last night. I finally fell asleep, and luck would have it, Bodey woke up very very early. I was a crabby mess all day.

I took a little nap this afternoon with Mr. B. That was incredibly fun. I don't remember the last time we went to bed together. He's a snuggle bug when he falls asleep.

After nap I went to my parents. I enjoyed their AC and the pool. I almost stayed the night, but knowing my AC ran all day I figured I'd better come home and enjoy the $$ we wasted running it. Ugh. Horrible mistake. Did I mention I'm hot?

I'm hoping tomorrow to get up, get my stuff done and GET OUT of this house by 11. I plan on going to Walmart to buy a few floaty devices and spending alllllll day in their swimming pool.

I am off to eat something cold. Take a cold shower. Then go crawl into bed to sweat off another 10lbs. Goodnight, hot, cruel world.

This weekend (and today) consisted of a lot of swimming. Its so hot. Its the only way to survive. Bodey, of course, (my little water baby!) has loved every minute of it. Today we turned the sprinkler on for him. He ran (er, toddled...) from the kiddy pool to the sprinkler and back again. Over and over and over again.

Lolly brought out a few chickens and the boys loved that. Molly is too tame however, and got a few feathers plucked out by Mr. Bodey who can't contain his affections. After Molly took a few pluckings, we brought out one of the lesser tame chickens so the boys could safely chase it around without actually catching it.

Shannen brought Bradley out to swim in the shade, and Bodey went crazy over that! Shiro screamed with fright every time Shannen brought Bradley near (Good boy Shiro!!) but Bodey, of course, wanted to hug, love and squeeze it. :-/

And that's about it for tonight.

I'm tired, hot and hungry. Whats new, right?? ;-)

Ready for a photo bomb??? 

Today was a lazy day. Jeff let me sleep in (two days in a row!) and kept the boy quiet while I snoozed.

I got up late (not admitting what time...) and promptly paid bills. Ick. Its so annoying to feel like you have money and then *POOF* its gone.

Jeff made me lunch-- spaghetti. I ate Oreo cookies. The house was hot, and I complained all day. I kept talking about going swimming at my parents.

Around 3ish we finally headed to my parents to go swimming. I went over in my swimsuit and everything. But guess what? Murphey's law...the pool is swamp green. And I can't be sure...but I think I saw something lurking underneath the top green layer... Needless to say: I did not swim. Instead I sat inside, roasting hot and pouting.

We had a delicious dinner. Apparently Bodey likes steak. My little carnivore...

He had a nice cool bath and now we are starting our nightly "Try to get Bodey to sleep" routine. Once we win this battle we are going to watch a movie and eat some more chocolate cake. The last slice of it. :( All good things must come to an end I suppose.

Tomorrow is church. Jeff is doing base guitar. I need to remember to pack a little backpack of fun stuff for Bodey to bring, to see if we can get him to sit through service like he did last week :)

chocolate cake, swimming, chocolate cake, swimming...sums it up!

I woke up this morning dreaming of Chocolate cake. That delicious 3 layer, triple chocolate, heart-attack-waiting-to-happen, dreamyness that we ate yesterday. Oh my. So yummy. I rushed out to the kitchen, planning on eating Jeff's piece (the piece I brought home for him last night) as my breakfast. My heart was shattered when I discovered he had already eaten it ALL last night. I almost killed him in his sleep. But I refrained. Instead, I called my mom and asked for a ride to her house so I could swim and eat more cake.

I still ended up having to wait until 3pm til that delicious pile of goodness made it into my stomach, but let me tell you. It was the best piece of cake ever. I ate a whole slice. And so far, I don't even regret the extra pound I'm sure it added to my face or rear end. It was worth it.

Shaylah, my mom and I laid out in the pool again this afternoon. We added a new layer of sunburn to our already burnt body. (Ouch) But again, it was worth it. Its so HOT!!!!!

Jeff slept til 2 today (he works nights...so that's still only 8 hours of sleep for him) so I didn't see him til about 2:30 when he realized I wasn't home, drug himself out of bed and made his way to my parents to see Bodey and I. We didn't get much time together, but at least its Thursday! He's off tomorrow :) This week went by really quickly. And guess what?! Its PAYDAY!!!!!!

Bodey only napped once today, so he was a real grouch tonight. I got him right to bed as soon as I got home, and now he's snoozing happily. Its the last night of VBS, so while my dad went to pick up my siblings, I lured my mom over with some ice cream to hang out with me for a while. I assumed she'd be here for a while, but apparently she was only staying while my dad quickly picked the kids up. :-/ So when she left 20minutes later without her ice cream treat, I felt pretty badly. :(

I am off to take a bath and then head to bed. Hoping for an early bedtime tonight!!

Closer cleaning, teething?? Fireworks

Posting from my phone... Short, sweet, to the point...

We cleaned Jeff's closet out today. It looks so nice, tidy and clean now!

Bodey was grumpy today. I think we're gonna be working on another new tooth pretty quickly.

We went and saw the Modesto nuts fireworks tonight. Bodey "wowed" and clapped the whole time! He loved them.

I'm making a pasta salad for tomorrow, then we are gonna eat some birthday cake ice cream and head to bed. Hoping I get to sleep in tomorrow.....

Acomplished day!

I. am. exhausted. But I had such a productive day.

We met with our midwife this morning. She will meet us at our house in two weeks, and from then on out we will be meeting weekly. Its weird, I realized last night, I can now start saying "This time next month, I might be holding my baby..." (MIGHT)

When we got home, I went right to work. My house house is sparkling. (Well...not whole house...tomrorow I will tackle the bedroom and bathroom!) But my livingroom, kitchen and game room.... *whistles*

I sweated up a storm today in my 90+ degree house! But it all payed off. Tonight I feel so acomplished. :)

I am going to go take a cold bath, then probably celebrate my acomplishments by eating some icecream. Then I am going to bed.

Jeff is off work tomorrow, so we have to go do something fun. What to do?! What to do!?

18th birthdays, church, sticky boys

This is what today looked like:

Corn. Tomatos. Plums.

And the dread of tomorrow's poopy diapers.

YUCK. Not looking forward to that....

Today is Shelbie's 18th birthday. (Well, technicaly, yesterday her time was her birthday...but today our time is her birthday. So confusing, I know...)

To celebrate her birthday we had a bbq. We made potatos, corn, chicken, tritip and salad. It was delicious.

The little boys helped husk the corn, which eventually turned into them eating everything in sight. Getting all sticky...and well, the rest is downhill from there.

This morning was church. My mom held Bodey and SOMEHOW she kept him quiet for the whole service!? I don't know exactly what she did, but teach me please!!!

After church Jeff and I came home so we could take a nap. Jeff had to work tonight (stupid company...stupid stupid stupid...) so we took a nap while Bodey was snoozing, then we went over to my parents. He hung out and played ball and helped with the boat for a few hours before he left for work.

The little boys had fun tottling around the back yard and playing in the playroom all afternoon. Bodey's new thing, is trying to nibble on Shiro's legs or toes while Shiro is nursing. *Hand slapping head.* What next? I don't know what to do with this child. He's so mean!!!!!
