I finally decided to stop being lazy, and post some pictures of Bodey that are on our camera. (Quality photos...not cell phone photos!)

Try to not get a headache from all the cuteness you are about to see...

Meet the world's most perfect baby:

And the award goes to.... (drumroll please) ...

SHIRO!!!!

Seriously... I don't think this baby even knows how to cry!! He needs to give his nephew lessons. :-/

Today:

Today Bodey and I sat outside in my parent's hammock swing soaking in some vitamin D for several hours. It was wonderful, and did both of us a lot of good. Fresh air...ahhh!!! We've been cooped up inside for much too long.

African Bird dance: part 2

This is the magical African Bird dance. (Sorry it's sideways, I filmed it on my phone) It's even crazier to watch in person. She moves so smoothly and elegantly, yet it look so unnatural. She looks like a rubber band! We call it the African Bird dance because she looks like she should be wearing a long colorful African skirt, dancing to some fun African music, but she also looks like a bird! When I try this dance myself, I look clumsy, awkward and stiff!!! She needs to give me some lessons....

The African Bird dance

Bodey is colicky :'-( So every evening, he breaks out into an unconsolable scream. Its just about the saddest thing ever, as we all feel so helpless. He usually kicks in around 7pm and it ends around midnight. Jeff and I have tried everything to help him, but nothing works.

However...there is ONE thing that helps...and only ONE person knows the secret to this one thing....

Auntie Bee.

Last week we discovered that the only person who can calm, console, and lullaby to sleep during his colic time is Shelbie. She has invented this crazy little bouncing/dancing/sway motion that calms Bodey down within 45seconds of his Auntie taking him. It's incredible actually.

How she can take this:

And turn it into this:

is beyond me.

I've tried her little dance routine. I can't master it. Shelbie is the African Bird dancing queen. And Bodey, Jeff and I all love her for it!!!!!
