Tired today...

We've been busy and tired today!!! Bodey pulled a 4am-er last night and today we suffered for it. Lots of yawning and grouching going on over here ;) but! The good news is, so far he's sleeping good tonight :)

I'm beginning to think I'm going to find out what being 41 weeks pregnant feels like! This baby is just too content in there!

Shelbie is home!!!! Finally!!! Tonight the family once again felt "complete."

*happy sigh*

On a sad note: Bodey is sick :-(( please keep him in your prayers. He needs to get better FAST and not spread any germs around. The last thing we want is to welcome a newborn into a house full of sickies.

We spent the majority of our day in bed. I was a bad mom and let him watch a movie to keep him entertained. He watched it upside down. *scratches head*

Later in the afternoon we headed to my parents to wait eagerly for the family to arrive with my long lost sister.

We spent the rest of the afternoon hugging, crying, laughing and feeling like the family was whole again.

So happy :)

I'm off to bed...praying to get sleep tonight. Praying that Bodey sleeps peacefully and wakes up healthy again.

40 weeks today!

I'm 40 weeks today! Come baby come!!

Highlight of today??? SHELBIE COMES HOME TOMORROW!!!!!!

I'm. Beyond. Excited.

Today's low? Poor Shylie sitting on a table to stay safe from the clutches of Bodey. :( what a bully. My 3yo sister is afraid of my 16 month old. *sigh*

The olympics are FINALLLLY over!!!!!! I'm sooo excited to have Jeff and Bodey back on planet earth! (yes--Bodey watched (and loved!) the Olympics!!!

Tomorrow I'm 40 weeks pregnant!!! We'll be meeting our baby soon!!!

Shelbie comes home in TWO days!! She's boarding a plane in Zambia right now!!!!!!!

Bodey doles out kisses like a crazy man these days. It's sooo precious!!

I got my mama hooked on baby wearing. :)

Photo #1 --- I discovered this morning why I constantly have Cheerios in my bed. I caught Bodey stuffing them down the crack that separates his bed from ours :-/

Sleepless nights

I'm not sure what the dealio is lately, but my boy will not sleep through the night. He sleeps great on nights Jeff is home, but during the work week, I'm crazy to even dream of the possibility of sleeping through the night.

This is what my view is. Every night. All night long....

Cute?? Yes. Annoying? Very.

I can't sleep if he is awake, and I can NOT for the life of me figure out how to get him to go to sleep. He sleeps til about midnightish then is awake for hours. He lays there quietly for the most part. I can always tell he is tired. But he won't give up and just sleep.

*Sigh*

Send some sleepy dust prayers my way. I need this boy to sleep so I can sleep.

I haven't updated in days. My appoologies. I've been busy. Tired. and hot. My game room (computer room) has NO source of cool air. So its misery in here. And my phone has been weird lately and won't let me post from my phone. :-/
