Dumbest quotes of the day:

To protect the guilty party's innocence, I'm going to refrain from mentioning names....

Quote number one: Person is looking at my mom's hat which reads "USA." Thinking along the lines of "UCSF" and other college acronyms, this "person" can't figure out what college USA could stand for. So...this person asks, "Mama, what does USA stand for?"

Quote number two: (Earlier in the day we saw an upside down rainbow circling the sun) While watching TV tonight a picture of the rainbow around the sun pops on the screen. This person says: "Oh look! They have an upside down rainbow around their sun also!!!"

Needless to say, Monday morning my mom will be heading down to the local public school to sign two certain peoples up to begin at the beginning of the new school year. ;-)

Highs and Lows

High of the day:
A) my family spending the day with me
B) getting our bedroom rearranged and ready for a baby
C) Setting up the crib and stroller

Low of the day:

My. Feet. Are. Killing. Me.

We're ready

Today my wonderful mom spent the entire day helping me rearrange my bedroom. It took forever. It was a lot of hard work. But now that we're done, I'm very verrry happy with how it looks!! It's exciting to see baby stuff set up. It makes this whole "baby thing" seem more real!

Jeff got home from work this evening (this "evening!" so fun to say!) and was thrilled to see the room ready for a baby. He spent his evening setting up the crib and stroller, while I worked on getting the car seats ready.

All we have left to do to prepare the room is find a little place to put the baby's clothes and blankets. (And we have to clean our closet out...but that's just a desire of mine, I guess it's not necessarily a "must do" before baby is born...?)

A little bit ago he said, "Honey, let's have that baby now." I think we're finally both ready.

There are still a few small things left to do in the bedroom before I post pictures. But I promise, when i'm finished, I will post some. :)

(Thank-you Mama for all your help today!!!!)

Today:

Do you think she had help coloring on herself? Or is she just that talented??

My my my...how cute can you possibly get?!

Today:

I think my house was cold today ;-)

Today:

My house was covered with baby toys.

Who knew that Poppet and Lolly would enjoy teethers and wooden blocks as much as Shylie?!

I'm going to be finding little toys all over the place for a very long time. Shylie girl is at that age where she likes to put stuff "away" where ever there is a place to put it. I caught her multiple times putting toys in my cupboards, baskets and even in my bathroom.

:-)

Today:

Oh my! Today I we went through a WHOLE roll of toilet paper. I put a new roll on this morning...and another new roll on this afternoon. Generally when I replace the TP, it lasts Jeff and I nearly a week....but I guess with 10 kids running in and out of the potty room 1 roll won't last long. ;-)

Our day--summed up in 2 pictures

On the way to my house: bright eyed, bushy tailed and excited

On the way home from my house...exhausted. She barely made it through the door.
